Hi all,
After the recent events which happened in my private life and since I don't seem to have the time for it anymore, I want to retire as a full time driver of the #1 Team Penske car but more importantly, I want to retire as this championships' owner as well. I will still keep an eye on the league and I'm still going to be a replacement driver for the new #3 Team Penske driver. Robin Schippers (known here as schippersracing) is a good friend of mine and he is going to take over the Indy Racing League and is also going to take over my ride. He's like me, a big Helio Castroneves fan, so he's not more than honored to be able to take over my ride which is of course Helio Castroneves' car. I'll be his replacement driver and I will assist him here and there as well, I will be his engineer (sort of). Keep in mind that if I will have to replace him this season, I will of course still run my #1 car because I'm still the defending series champion as we all know.
I want to thank everyone who has competed in this championship for the past two years, the two time champion is going to retire for more than 50% but even without me, this series should continue and grow to a great rFactor IndyCar Series championship! There are plans for a part time come back next season and I really hope that I will be able to compete against at least 20 drivers by then!
Thank you all for everything!
Kind regards,
Robby - 2 time Indy Racing League champion and by now former owner of the Indy Racing League.

Hey man! I'm so proud to have the opportunity not only to take over your ride but also to take over this entire championship. I'll do the best I can and please.... Return next year mate, I want to race against you, I want to beat you in what was once YOUR car!! It's gonna be a challenge to achieve in two seasons what you've done, that's for sure and I of course know what kind of things have recently happened in your life and I really hope you'll be able to enjoy your life again very soon, however I do understand that it might take a while until that's going to happen. Take care mate and thanks for trusting me!
