Hi all,
Today is the day that we do proudly announce next seasons' schedule. The schedule contains a total of 22 races over 19 different venues. The series will not return to two venues, those are Burke Lakefront Airport Cleveland and Daytona International Speedway. There are two new venues on the schedule, those are Pocono Raceway and Reliant Park Houston and one is making it's return on the Indy Racing League schedule, namely Kentucky Speedway. Also multiple events' it's race distance has been changed, the most of them have been extended.
The following events will have a changed race distance
- Long Beach will become a 40 lap race while it used to be a 42 lap event.
- Belle Isle will become a 35 lap race while it used to be a 45 lap event.
- St. Petersburg will become a 55 lap race while it used to be a 49 lap event.
- Milwaukee will become a 125 lap race while it used to be a 114 lap event.
- Mid-Ohio will become a 45 lap race while it used to be a 42 lap event.
- Texas will become a 124 lap race while it used to be a 117 lap event.
- Iowa will become a 200 lap race while it used to be a 128 lap event.
- Kentucky will become a 125 lap race while it used to be a 100 lap event.
- Las Vegas will become a 125 lap race while it used to be a 102 lap event.
Race dates will be announced later.
